Is-sinjal għal ŻARBUN TAL-FUTBOL għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal ŻARBUN biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf fuq quddiem forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra, ukoll forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel, timxi fuq l-id il-wieqfa, mis-swaba’ sal-polz qisu biex timsaħ il-wiċċ tal-id. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal FOOTBALL(ER) isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. The sign for FOOTBALL SHOE(S) has two parts. (i) First, the sign for SHOE is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary at the front in the shape of 5 with palm facing downwards. The other hand, also in the shape of 5 with palm facing downwards, slides over the top of the stationary hand from fingers to wrist as though wiping it. (ii) Then the sign for FOOTBALL(ER) is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of closed 5 with the palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of a loose fist with palm facing downwards and hits the palm of the first hand as it moves in an upward direction about twice.
